Sweet or Savoury

On the Scrapbook City forum Terri has set up a weekly blog challenge, so I've finally joined in.............

Sweet or Savoury
I have to say both, just depends on my mood. Generally if at a restaurant though, I'll skip Entree and have Main and Desert. At home or friends places I quite like Nibblies - dip, cheese & bikkies. And whilst I like sweet things as long as it isn't sickly sweet!! I love to go to Pancakes on the Rocks and have Lemontyne Crepes - yummy yummy!!!

Tara update

Tara has been given the all clear with her Clicky Hips. We had an X-Ray done in March and there was concern about her right hip being out of alignment, so we saw an Orthopedic Surgeon and he checked her over and said all is good - such a relief.
She is (commando) crawling all over the house. The shower seems to be a place to hide!!
Last week she cut her 3rd tooth (and I thought her 4th, but it seems not!) and we had a bit of a rough time - clingy baby & yucky nappies.
She still idolises her big Sissy and just beams at her!!

Bethany update

Bethany this year is at Pre-School 2 days a week. She still has a couple of tears when I drop her off, but teachers say it doesn't last long and she is happy for the rest of the day.
In February she started Dancing, doing Jazz and Tap. She is really enjoying herself and gives it her best!! No photos yet, still waiting for the uniform.
Speech Therapy is still fortnightly but we are progressing. She tries so hard but sometimes just can't get her tongue in the right place.
Yesterday we took her for her 4 yo immunisation, she was quite anxious but very brave throughout it all. I was so proud of her. (after her numerous hospital stays she is very aware of needles and can't stand Band aids)
I can't believe she will start big School next year. Last week the council had a School Expo. We've chosen one of our local schools, now to do the paperwork.........
I think that's all for now about Bethany. As always she is full of life and asking me many questions!!

Holiday Fun

Back in February we had a lovely week away. We went to a beaut spot called Hat Head. It is a Fishermans haven!! There really isn't much to do there, just the beach or the beach!! It is actually a long time family holiday spot. My Dad joined us too.........but the weather was too windy so there was no fishing. When I was a kid we always stayed in a tent, but nowadays we rent a house. Bethany enjoyed the beach every afternoon, building sand castles and running in the waves. Tara is too young for the beach and I wasn't ready for her to eat sand yet!! But I did get there 1 afternoon and we even had fun with the kite too. Also I did lots & lots of Scrapping of a night time. It certainly was a relaxing week away. Lots of photos to share!!

Yes, I have a blog!!

Finally got 1 set up. I am going to use it to display my Scrapbooking of course and my love of Photography (of which I'm such an amateur!! but it brings great fun)

And to record bits and pieces.........like today Tara has started to say "Dad dad dad"!! And she has also cut her first tooth.

For me this year I would like to do more Scrapping and I'm going to try submitting to the Mags too.
